About the role

  • Account Executive développant Lightspeed Capital auprès de commerçants détaillants. Prospection, conseil financier, négociation et croissance du portefeuille clients en Amérique du Nord.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively contact existing customers to promote the financial services offering
  • Deliver high service levels and use effective sales techniques to position Lightspeed Capital with merchants
  • Build trusted-advisor relationships and identify financial services opportunities across the customer portfolio
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize portfolio growth
  • Meet sales targets by providing exceptional advice and service
  • Coordinate with the Regional Account Management Lead to maximize opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Use business development and customer relationship management techniques to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Provide regular feedback and act as the merchant’s voice to company leadership

Requirements

  • Sales experience, preferably selling financial services products, with a strong track record of high performance over several consecutive years
  • Understanding of solution-oriented consultative selling in a SaaS environment
  • Ability to use Salesforce.com and other technologies to manage and organize the sales pipeline
  • Commitment to a positive, high-performance culture
  • Enjoy the challenge of exceeding targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional presence and confidence when communicating with senior executives
  • Value feedback and thrive on continuous improvement and learning
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation to succeed
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage and build effective partnerships both internally and externally
  • Fluency in English as a working language is required
  • Experience in banking and financial services is a strong asset
  • Fluency in French
