About the role

  • Account Manager helping golf courses maximize Lightspeed’s commerce platform. Driving adoption, expansion, and long-term customer success across North America.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of golf course customers
  • Help customers get the most value from the Lightspeed platform
  • Proactively reach out to customers to drive product usage and add-ons
  • Expand usage of Lightspeed Golf modules
  • Identify and address churn risks
  • Ensure adoption of new product launches
  • Define customer success criteria with internal teams including Sales, Services, Support, and Product
  • Provide escalation support for large-customer issues
  • Lead projects and initiatives to improve customer experience and CSAT
  • Identify reference-account and marketing case-study opportunities
  • Report regularly on portfolio status and maintain high CSAT/NPS
  • Stay current on Lightspeed products, processes, and add-ons
  • Represent customer needs and flag product requests to appropriate teams
  • Participate in team, regional, and continuous-improvement initiatives
  • Provide customers with POS and management best practices
  • Keep current with golf-industry best practices
  • Improve Customer Success and Account Management processes
  • Conduct pre-sale scope calls to determine customer requirements and setup needs
  • Contribute to wider organizational objectives

Requirements

  • Experience managing an extended and complete sales cycle
  • Strong emphasis on ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Passion for working with people, understanding unique business needs, and optimizing business output
  • Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written) is strongly preferred
  • Experience working with major corporations and maintaining SLAs
  • Well versed in and passionate about the golf industry
  • Consultative, analytical, and solutions-oriented
  • Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and organized
  • Results- and metric-driven
  • A sense of adventure and an entrepreneurial spirit
