About the role

Responsibilities

  • Co-own positioning and messaging for Lightspeed Golf
  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for product launches, feature enhancements, migrations, and major announcements
  • Build launch plans connecting product strategy to marketing campaigns, sales enablement, customer communications, and post-launch adoption
  • Partner with the product team to identify friction points, improve the golf course management journey, and influence product priorities
  • Develop adoption, activation, cross-sell, and expansion programs
  • Drive payments attach and adoption of revenue-generating products and services
  • Establish feedback loops with Sales, Support, Customer Success, and Partnerships
  • Lead ongoing market, customer, and competitive research
  • Develop and maintain ICPs, personas, segmentation, and customer journey insights
  • Translate competitive and market insights into positioning, sales guidance, and strategic recommendations
  • Create presentations, battlecards, one-pagers, demo tools, launch kits, and training
  • Collaborate with Integrated Marketing, Content, Design, Public Relations, Events, and Partnerships
  • Serve as the product and industry subject-matter expert for Marketing, Communications, and customer-facing teams
  • Measure and communicate the impact of launches and customer programs on adoption, pipeline, conversion, attach, MRR, retention, and other metrics
  • Establish and improve repeatable product marketing processes for the golf industry

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, or an equivalent go-to-market role, ideally in B2B or B2B2C SaaS
  • Experience developing positioning, messaging, launch plans, sales enablement, and customer marketing programs
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to independently drive work from strategy through execution
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into clear recommendations
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, Support, Customer Success, or Partnerships teams
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into clear customer benefits
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, prioritizing competing demands, and structuring processes that are still being developed
  • Proactive, analytical, and collaborative working style
  • Curiosity about customer needs and a continuous-improvement mindset
  • Additional assets include experience in golf, sports, hospitality, retail, fintech, or B2B SaaS software
  • Good understanding of how golf courses operate
  • Experience marketing products to business executives and end consumers
  • Experience with product adoption, customer marketing, expansion, or retention programs
  • Interest in or passion for golf, sports, or technology
  • Experience with ABM, industry events, trade associations, or partnership marketing
  • MBA or Product Marketing Alliance certification is an asset
