About the role

  • Staff Technical Program Manager leading Lime’s global micromobility infrastructure programs. Driving reliability, scalability, architecture, and cost-efficiency initiatives across distributed engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional development from concept to delivery across organizational teams.
  • Improve the software delivery lifecycle and oversee software deliverables.
  • Align and influence Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, Product, and Finance stakeholders on large-scale infrastructure programs.
  • Anticipate technical risks, map dependencies, resolve ambiguity, and eliminate blockers.
  • Provide data-driven updates to senior leadership on program health, milestones, risks, and change control.
  • Design and streamline organizational mechanisms to increase delivery velocity and engineering best practices.
  • Partner with engineering teams to improve availability guardrails, including SLAs and SLOs.
  • Facilitate post-incident root-cause analyses to maximize uptime and reduce MTTR.
  • Establish automated cloud-spend monitoring and drive infrastructure cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop talent within the program management function.
  • Translate business requirements into architectural decisions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of technical program management experience focused on cloud infrastructure, reliability, or platform engineering at scale
  • Experience managing large, multi-team software programs across globally distributed organizations and distinct time zones
  • Strong technical background in back-end architectural systems and platform ecosystem scaling
  • Experience facilitating technical discussions and contributing to design decisions
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to influence teams without authority, manage competing priorities, and navigate ambiguity
  • Prior Software Developer, Site Reliability Engineer, or DevOps Engineer experience preferred
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, global telemetry/monitoring tooling, and distributed database scaling preferred
  • Experience driving large-scale migrations and decoupling monolithic backend databases and codebases preferred
  • Experience using AI technologies or automated tooling in engineering workflows preferred
  • Strong product acumen for championing platform infrastructure initiatives and translating technical achievements into business value
  • Must reside and work remotely from Canada
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada
  • English language proficiency required
