About the role
- Enterprise Architect leading Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations for Long View, a North American IT provider. Defining solution architecture and supporting strategic client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Support Long View’s Business Applications D365 Finance and Operations and/or Business Central portfolio by working with customers and internal stakeholders
- Define customer solutions and deliver innovative engagements that exceed business requirements
- Oversee the design, architecture, and implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solution components
- Support solution consultants in other technical and business disciplines
- Apply best practices for Organizational Change Management
- Qualify strategic business solution leads and sales opportunities with Account Managers, Client Services Managers, Practice Directors, and VPs
- Participate and contribute to the larger Long View team by sharing learnings and information
- Collaborate with Service Realization to bring products and capabilities to market supporting Business Applications and Data Modernization services and technologies
- Keep abreast of relevant industry certifications and accreditations aligned with key practices and technology partners
- Lead complex, cross-practice Dynamics 365 implementations by defining overall solution architecture and supporting functional and technical architects
- Solve business challenges across several areas using business and management consulting skills
Requirements
- 10+ years of industry experience working with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
- 5+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum
- Proven skills and background with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations presales and demos
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with internal and external stakeholders and peers in written, oral, and presentation formats
- Proficiency in workshop facilitation, including envisioning workshops and art-of-the-possible sessions
- Self-motivation and drive to improve skills and remain relevant in the area of expertise
- Industry certifications such as Dynamics FastTrack, Microsoft MVP, or enterprise architecture certifications such as TOGAF or Zachman are an asset
- Relevant Azure experience across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions is an asset
