About the role
- Principal Architect leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE solution design and delivery for Long View, a North American IT provider. Guiding clients and project teams through implementation, architecture, and support.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of Dynamics 365 CE solutions based on client requirements
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices
- Provide technical guidance to project teams and clients
- Oversee technical specifications and solution documentation
- Manage end-to-end delivery of Dynamics 365 CE projects
- Develop and maintain project plans covering scope, timelines, and resource allocation
- Monitor project progress, budgets, risks, and issues
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients
- Build relationships with client stakeholders
- Conduct workshops and meetings to gather and validate business requirements
- Provide project updates and status reports to clients
- Lead and mentor Dynamics 365 CE consultants, developers, and testers
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback
- Ensure team skills and training support successful project delivery
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide client training and post-implementation support
- Develop training materials and user guides
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Extensive experience in designing and delivering Dynamics 365 CE solutions
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery
- Excellent client engagement and relationship management skills
- Leadership experience with the ability to manage and mentor teams
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform and Azure
- Understanding of data integration and migration strategies
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications preferred
