About the role
- Senior Project Manager delivering complex IT infrastructure projects for multiple clients through Long View, a North American IT provider. Leading enterprise upgrades, stakeholder governance, and technology solution delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple complex IT projects from initiation through successful delivery, ensuring scope, budget, timeline, quality, and business objectives are achieved
- Partner with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams to develop project strategies, execution plans, and measurable success criteria
- Serve as a trusted advisor, providing leadership, guidance, and recommendations for business and technology objectives
- Manage project risks, dependencies, budgets, resources, and communications while maintaining governance practices
- Drive stakeholder engagement and executive reporting for transparency, alignment, and decision-making
- Measure project outcomes and business value realization through data-driven reporting and continuous improvement
- Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions meeting client and organizational goals
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a Project Manager position focused on large-scale enterprise project upgrades and/or implementations
- Experience managing digital transformation or IT infrastructure projects
- Experience with network upgrades or replacements, including Cisco and/or Palo Alto
- Experience with virtualization transitions, such as VMware to Nutanix preferred
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server upgrades across multiple versions
- Experience with Windows Server upgrades
- Experience with Linux Server upgrades, including RedHat and/or CentOS
- Experience with storage infrastructure upgrades
- Exceptional communication skills
- Knowledge of change and problem management
- Ability to anticipate risks
- Ability to build relationships and foster trust with stakeholders, project teams, and project leaders
- Proven ability to lead complex IT projects
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies
- Previous consulting experience
