Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for Plan Members and healthcare providers via phone, email, and live chat
Provide plan coverage information
Explain claims processes
Support customer inquiries and create a smooth, positive experience
Advocate for Plan Members and deliver exceptional service
Manage multiple priorities efficiently while remaining focused and composed
Handle difficult interactions positively and professionally
Contribute to a collaborative, solutions-focused team environment
Handle inquiries confidently and provide clear, accurate, and helpful responses
Complete virtual training during the first three months with dedicated trainer and leadership support
Requirements
Excellent communication in English, spoken and written
2+ years of experience in a customer-facing or call center environment
Post-secondary education
Strong active listening skills
Excellent multitasking and time management abilities
Tech-savvy and comfortable using customer service software and systems
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Previous participation in an employee group benefits plan
Ability to work Monday to Friday within contact center hours of 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM
