About the role

  • Bilingual Insurance Advisor helping Manulife customers choose Health, Dental, Travel, and Life coverage. Handling inbound and interested-customer calls, digital support, needs analysis, and sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls from new clients about Health & Dental, Travel, and Life Insurance
  • Make outbound calls to customers who have already expressed interest
  • Assist clients through online chat and digital channels
  • Learn client needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions
  • Record client details and needs accurately in online systems
  • Work toward monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and quality goals
  • Build customer relationships and develop a personal sales pipeline
  • Support marketing and sponsor campaigns
  • Share customer insights to improve products and processes
  • Work shifts between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. EST Monday to Friday, and 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST on Saturdays

Requirements

  • Fully bilingual in French and English
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent active listening skills
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and genuine focus on customer experience
  • Motivation to meet sales targets and build a career with strong earning potential
  • Comfort working in open office environments and from home
  • Ability to connect with people, understand their needs, and guide conversations
  • Attention to detail when gathering information, analyzing needs, and offering solutions
  • Ability to navigate multiple screens or systems simultaneously and eagerness to learn new tools
  • Experience with MS Outlook, Salesforce, or other web-based systems is a plus
  • Telephone sales or call-center experience is helpful but not required
  • Previous exposure to insurance, especially Accident & Sickness or Life Insurance, is an asset
  • Post-secondary degree is preferred; equivalent work or volunteer experience is considered
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or another CRM platform is an advantage
  • LLQP license is not required before hiring; the employer will sponsor Harmonized LLQP education and licensing before the start date
