About the role

  • Inforce Case Coordinator supporting Manulife’s Canadian insurance distributors with policy inquiries and case resolution. Coordinating internal teams to deliver efficient, relationship-focused insurance service.

Responsibilities

  • Acknowledge, manage, and respond to inforce insurance inquiries across all product lines via dedicated email IDs and toll-free number
  • Create outstanding service experiences by prioritizing and handling distributor inquiries
  • Develop meaningful relationships with distributors and make it easier, faster, and better to do business with Manulife
  • Educate and promote Manulife tools, resources, digital, and self-service opportunities
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal teams to facilitate complex processes and case resolution
  • Ensure timely execution of requests while keeping contacts informed
  • Resolve problems and bottlenecks with full accountability from start to finish
  • Maintain high performance targets with professionalism and empathy
  • Support peers by sharing knowledge and balancing team volume and service levels
  • Recommend changes, reduce waste, and improve the distributor experience
  • Identify process enhancements and raise distributor concerns
  • Assess business, compliance, and reputation risk and take appropriate action

Requirements

  • Typically, post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
  • Typically have 2+ years progressive customer service skills
  • Sound insurance knowledge across all Insurance product lines including legacy products is an asset
  • Ability to build and maintain positive and solid relationships with internal and external customers
  • Ability to express ideas and share information clearly, concisely and thoroughly
  • Ability to influence without formal authority and overcome objections and resistance
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups and stakeholders throughout the Canadian Insurance segment
  • Working knowledge of Canadian Individual Life Insurance products and functions
  • Ability to own problems through to resolution and make sound, timely decisions
  • Analytical/systematic reasoning skills
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage high volumes of cases within aggressive deadlines while balancing priorities
