About the role

  • Manulife financial-services co-op creating education and communication materials for group retirement-plan members. Supporting approvals, translations, project tracking, and member engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Create enrollment and other member communication materials in a range of formats
  • Enter descriptions of plan benefits and other data in Manulife’s systems
  • Review materials for accuracy and readability
  • Identify discrepancies between documents
  • Coordinate translation of materials when required
  • Ensure materials receive required approvals and are ready for distribution
  • Manage multiple projects and tasks while meeting deadlines and quality expectations
  • Track productivity and report on progress
  • Build and maintain a database of clear, accurate content for plan member communications
  • Consult and collaborate with internal contacts to ensure accuracy and obtain approval
  • Support National Education Specialists in developing and executing member education deliverables

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, business studies, or a related discipline
  • Previous project management experience or business experience in insurance or retirement savings an asset
  • Proven ability to spot inconsistencies, question data, and work with others to resolve questions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in written French an asset
  • Desire to learn and develop
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on service excellence
  • Strong time management skills with ability to multitask
  • Proven attention to detail
  • Ability to manage a large work volume
  • Positive attitude and flexibility to adapt to changing projects and timelines
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
