About the role

  • Unclaimed Property Administrator processing documentation and customer claims for Manulife, an international financial services provider. Resolving escalations and supporting accurate, compliant fund recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Process requests from external customers seeking to initiate unclaimed property claims
  • Review documentation, apply established procedures, and determine whether requests are complete and eligible
  • Contact customers when additional information or supporting documentation is required
  • Determine whether standard communications or direct outreach is necessary to resolve outstanding items
  • Process urgent requests from external vendors and business partners to support claim progression
  • Manage escalated inquiries related to claim initiation, documentation requirements, and follow-up activities
  • Utilize multiple operational and claims-related systems effectively
  • Maintain working knowledge of operational and claims-related systems
  • Support additional administrative and operational responsibilities as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience
  • Previous experience in business operations, customer service, claims administration, financial services, or a related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing and processing documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong administrative background with proven organizational skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and problem-solving ability
  • Strong typing and data-entry skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience handling escalations and resolving complex customer inquiries
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment
