Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the Safety Department
Prepare, format, organize, and maintain paperwork, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and departmental records
Create and distribute professional communications and documents, including notices and updates
Assist with departmental requests and special initiatives, including coordinating Safety Week logistics
Support project teams with filing, document assembly, record-keeping, and meeting minutes
Assist office and project teams with general meetings, office and social events, and recurring coordination meetings
Manage multiple requests accurately and respond to changing departmental needs
Use computer programs confidently and learn new systems as required
Produce accurate, timely work in a fast-paced environment
Provide a collaborative, service-focused approach
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in an Administrative role
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Effective organizational and time-management skills
Professional discretion when managing confidential information
Fast, accurate typing skills
Ability to work independently while also supporting a collaborative team environment
Previous experience supporting a Safety, Construction, Engineering, or Operations team is considered as an asset
Experience supporting teams across multiple locations or time zones is considered as an asset
