About the role
- Intermediate Project Manager overseeing $5M–$50M industrial, commercial, and institutional construction projects for Maple Reinders. Leading project teams, stakeholders, quality, and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop successful relationships with clients, consultants, architects, sub-contractors and other project stakeholders
- Effectively manage projects while following Maple Reinders’ processes and procedures
- Ensure each project is delivered with quality and consistency
- Define project methodology with the project team
- Ensure project goals are met and communication is maintained
- Take overall responsibility for project success
- Lead teams of Estimators, Superintendents, Project Coordinators and hourly employees
- Mentor Assistant Project Managers and Coordinators
- Manage ICI building projects typically valued at $5-$50M
Requirements
- 3 or more years' experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry with a general contractor
- A University Degree/Technology Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience
- Experience in markets such as Food and Beverage, Defense, Educational, Mass Timber and Recreation Centers is considered an asset
- Ability to manage ICI projects valued at $5-$50M
- Travel to sites
