About the role
- CEO & Co-Founder driving commercialization of low-emission iron technology at Marble. Leading fundraising and scaling efforts in a climate tech venture studio based in Vancouver, Canada.
Responsibilities
- You’ll own the commercial roadmap, capital strategy, partner and customer engagement, and overall company direction
- You’ll partner with the CTO & Co-Founder, a former Lead Technology Development Engineer at Carbon Engineering (DAC) and mechanical engineer from MIT with early-stage startup experience
- We’re developing a novel ironmaking technology that produces low-emission iron at cost parity with today’s highly emitting incumbents — without green hydrogen or CCS.
Requirements
- Commercial experience in a relevant sector (e.g., metals, mining, cement, lime, minerals, oil & gas, or related industrial processes), such as business development, strategic partnerships, or project development
- A track record of securing customers and building partnerships with major industrial players
- Experience raising capital from venture, strategic, and non-dilutive sources
- An entrepreneurial streak evidenced by founding, operating, or scaling an early-stage venture
