About the role
- Senior PR Account Executive securing technology media coverage for Marketbridge’s B2B clients. Managing media relations, content, awards, speaking, and strategic communications programs.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to PR strategy plans to meet client business objectives and deliver immediate value
- Manage media relations, speaking, awards, social media, and content development programs
- Proactively pitch technology, business, trade, and vertical media using traditional and social channels
- Develop press releases, byline articles, blog posts, social media, and other materials with minimal oversight and edits
- Communicate with clients and provide strategic, insightful recommendations
- Drive high-quality media coverage in the tech press and beyond
- Work with B2B enterprise tech clients in cybersecurity, AI, data, manufacturing, and supply chain industries
- Collaborate in a fast-paced, team-based environment
Requirements
- Minimum of 3–4 years of post-graduate PR experience in an agency setting or corporate environment
- Previous technology PR experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a communications or business-related field
- Solid media pitching experience
- Existing relationships with key journalists in prominent outlets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to juggle shifting priorities and deadlines
- Must be eligible to work in Canada or the US without visa sponsorship
