About the role

  • McKesson cosmetics business advisor managing independent pharmacy relationships across Quebec. Promoting programs, improving in-store execution, and driving cosmetic sales through field visits.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop strong business relationships with pharmacy owners, managers, and cosmetics teams within the assigned territory.
  • Tailor recommendations based on each pharmacy’s profile, potential, and level of cosmetics maturity.
  • Act as the primary field contact for cosmetics-related initiatives and questions.
  • Promote and sell cosmetics programs, promotional initiatives, and assortments aligned with banner strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve in-store cosmetics sales.
  • Secure pharmacy buy-in and engagement with cosmetics initiatives.
  • Follow up on business opportunities and in-store program adoption.
  • Ensure the execution of in-store merchandising standards, concepts, and promotional programs.
  • Conduct regular pharmacy visits to assess execution, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support in-store teams through coaching, field accompaniment, and reinforcement of best practices.
  • Prepare and present performance reviews covering results, execution, and growth opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison between pharmacies, banner teams, and cosmetics suppliers.
  • Provide structured feedback on products, execution challenges, training needs, and the customer experience.
  • Support training and onboarding initiatives for cosmetics teams as needed.

Requirements

  • College diploma or equivalent experience in retail, business administration, cosmetology, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in retail operations, cosmetics, the beauty industry, or a pharmacy environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cosmetics products, merchandising principles, and sales drivers.
  • Comfortable influencing owners and store teams in a customer-focused commercial role.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
  • Excellent relationship-building and customer interaction skills.
  • Strong sales orientation combined with a consultative approach and a focus on execution.
  • Ability to influence, promote programs, and secure store engagement without direct supervisory authority.
  • Hands-on, solution-oriented approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage a territory and multiple priorities.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and internal systems.
  • Comfortable using retail tools and training technologies.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
