About the role

  • SDR generating qualified pipeline for Minga’s student behavior platform. Prospecting via email, phone, and social selling while partnering with Sales and Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Own the top of the funnel and set the foundation for a strong, high-quality pipeline
  • Proactively engage prospects and create a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Use tools and strategies to identify and research potential prospects
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through email, phone calls, and social selling
  • Maintain consistent follow-up cadences, multi-thread contacts, and nurture relationships
  • Set qualified meetings for the Account Executive team
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to drive sustainable pipeline growth
  • Engage with website visitors and inbound leads
  • Improve the prospecting process and provide ongoing feedback to Sales Management
  • Influence the refinement of Minga's sales motion and help shape best practices as the team scales

Requirements

  • 1+ years of sales experience in a SaaS environment
  • Bonus points for experience in tech or education tech
  • Bonus points for experience using HubSpot and Gong
  • Keen interest in learning and building a career in sales
  • Goal-oriented, high-energy contributor with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail
  • Must be able to work in Kelowna HQ
  • Comfortable with phone-based outreach
  • Openness to coaching and training from scratch
  • Willingness to go the extra mile to deliver results
  • Curiosity about software products and comfort working with them
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
