About the role

  • Operations and Financial Coordinator managing budgets, forecasting, and financial analysis for Marsh’s Workforce & Rewards consulting practice. Coordinating staffing strategy and cross-functional initiatives in Toronto or Montreal.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly business performance analysis
  • Analyze and prepare sales and financial budgets
  • Integrate data across different systems and sources to identify trends
  • Support the FP&A team with additional practice-level analysis
  • Support staffing strategy, including coordination of requisitions and budgets with HR and finance
  • Participate in cross-functional teams and build relationships across the organization
  • Manage operations, financial forecasting, and staffing budgets
  • Support consultants and strategic initiatives
  • Deliver financial reports and analysis
  • Execute cross-functional projects

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a corporate environment
  • Degree or diploma in business, finance, or accounting
  • Experience in professional services preferred
  • Strong business acumen and analytical mindset
  • Ability to work independently, at a fast pace, and under pressure
  • Strong project management capability
  • Experience managing demanding deadlines, changing requirements, and limited resources or information
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
  • High standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including developing coherent and concise emails and presentations
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Agility with collaborative working tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and other emerging tools
  • BComm, HBA/MBA, MIR, or related degree in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, human resources, and/or accounting, or equivalent work experience
