About the role
- Data Analyst automating reporting and analytics for NBCUniversal’s local digital media sales business. Maintaining Excel, Python, Tableau, and DOMO data workflows.
Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, troubleshoot, and implement automated and ad-hoc solutions for reporting and analytical needs
- Work cross-functionally to support the Inventory Team, Account Managers, Sales, Finance, and other stakeholders
- Develop and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets using advanced formulas and functions
- Maintain and enhance the Python codebase for reporting, automation, and data workflows
- Manage and maintain Business Intelligence tools, including Tableau
- Troubleshoot and resolve reporting errors and data discrepancies within the client-facing DOMO Dashboard
- Automate custom stakeholder reports using Python
- Develop additional reports and analyses on an ad-hoc basis
- Develop and maintain documentation and SOPs for data processes, knowledge sharing, and operational continuity
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years in data analytics, business intelligence, data operations, or a related analytical role
- Highly skilled in Excel, including INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, pivot tables, nested/complex formulas, and data reconciliation techniques
- Proficiency in Python, with extensive experience using pandas for data cleaning, manipulation, transformation, and analysis
- Deep working knowledge of Tableau, including Level of Detail (LOD) expressions, calculated fields, and parameters
- Familiarity with DOMO, including Magic ETL, Beast Mode, Dataflows, Views, calculated fields, and more
- Familiarity using Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development workflows
- Familiarity working within Jira or a similar ticketing/project management platform
- Able to regularly support Eastern Time business hours
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be 18 years or older
