About the role

  • Senior QA Analyst validating nesto Cloud's mortgage technology end to end before client UAT. Coordinating test coverage, automation review, bug triage, and client issue resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Design test coverage and scenarios ahead of UAT
  • Validate that solutions address customers' actual problems, beyond individual feature specifications
  • Partner with developers and product managers across the SDLC
  • Clarify requirements, identify gaps early, and define acceptance criteria
  • Translate business and data requirements from URDs, PRDs, and HLDs into comprehensive test plans
  • Recommend what should be automated and why, collaborating with Automation Developers
  • Investigate automation failures and follow up on results
  • Flag testing gaps and priorities
  • Work with Delivery leadership and stakeholders to prioritize testing and coverage against client needs
  • Own tactical bug triage and coordination during UAT
  • Act as a primary point of contact for client-reported issues
  • Review and run tests using test management tools
  • Provide project team feedback on automation suitability
  • Support product follow-up and client updates during UAT

Requirements

  • 5+ years of QA experience in a Senior Quality role
  • Experience testing SaaS/cloud applications
  • Deep understanding of the full SDLC and Quality Engineering's role in development
  • Strong end-to-end and functional testing experience
  • Cross-module investigation skills and root-cause analysis
  • Experience tactically coordinating testing during Pre-UAT/UAT, including tickets, status reporting, and resolution tracking
  • API testing experience using Postman (must-have)
  • Ability to review automation run results and investigate failures, including CI/CD pipeline runs such as GitHub Actions
  • Agile fluency and comfort with rapid release cycles
  • Technical role; hands-on coding is not required
  • Candidates must be based in Canada
  • Ability to work Eastern Time hours strongly preferred
  • Successful background, criminal, and reference checks required
