About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain nesto’s Salesforce environment
- Establish best practices for data architecture, user interface design, role design, and business logic in Salesforce
- Maintain and expand Salesforce integrations with back-end services
- Write modular, maintainable code
- Apply technical expertise in design, coding, testing, and debugging
- Independently deliver small-scale projects and features, and contribute to medium- and large-scale projects as part of a team
- Investigate difficult-to-reproduce bugs, narrow down failure conditions, and test new features
- Continue learning about the system and technology and apply that knowledge
- Collaborate with Operations leadership to test, execute, and rapidly iterate on core business processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Development experience on the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud)
- Deep understanding of Salesforce integration patterns
- Proficiency in best practices for determining when to use Flows versus Apex
- Strong experience developing with LWC
- Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II preferred
- Comfortable with modern application architecture
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate in an inclusive environment
- Self-directed and comfortable working in fast-paced teams
