About the role
- Student developer prototyping automation, AI, security, and observability for Nokia’s 5G Core products. Building microservices, UIs, and LLM APIs in an agile incubation team.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to incubation projects focused on automation for Nokia 5G Core products
- Explore and apply new technologies to enhance automation, AI, security, service assurance, and sustainability for Core Network products
- Join a rapid-prototyping team building and vetting technology for automation, observability, and security in core networks
- Work across back-end microservices, front-end user interfaces, APIs to Large Language Models, and existing components
- Participate in an agile team environment
- Document descriptions and findings for work items
Requirements
- Currently a candidate for a Master’s, Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering or a related field with an accredited school in Canada
- Strong general programming skills in Go, JavaScript or Python
- Strong understanding of YAML and JSON
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, VMs, and Linux
- Ability to learn quickly with strong problem-resolution skills (nice to have)
