About the role
- Test automation intern developing scripts and applications for network scenarios. Executing functional, regression, and performance testing for telecommunications products.
Responsibilities
- Development of scripts or applications (XML, REST, JavaScript, Perl) to simulate various management activities and network scenarios
- Development and execution of test plans to validate functional aspects of the product
- Investigation of product defects encountered during test scenarios
- Execution of tests and maintenance of regression and performance test beds, including publishing results and developing additional functionality
Requirements
- Currently a candidate for a Master's, Bachelor's degree, or Diploma in Engineering/Computer Science, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada
- Strong programming (Java, Perl, XML, JS) and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment
- Knowledge of software and/or testing methodologies
