About the role
- Full Stack Developer building Azure cloud applications and SOAR automation. Supporting Ontinue’s AI-powered MXDR security services, observability, integrations, and incident response.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test cloud-native applications using .NET, .NET Core, and Power Platform in Azure
- Contribute to scalable, fault-tolerant architectures that meet service SLAs/SLOs
- Review team members’ code and designs and provide constructive feedback
- Improve the security posture of the cloud platform
- Resolve escalated incidents related to cloud solutions
- Build and provide observability support for Azure platform solutions
- Collaborate with Cyber Defenders and Detection Engineering to improve and develop SOAR capabilities within the Microsoft security stack
- Work with engineering teams to convert established processes and workflows into automated processes and pipelines
- Ensure timely response and progression of automation projects
Requirements
- Experience developing application integrations on the Azure Platform using Azure Web Apps, Power Platform, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agent, DataVerse, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Durable Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, REST APIs, Cosmos/PostgreSQL
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Kusto Query Language and PowerShell scripting
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Experience with Microsoft security products, specifically Microsoft Sentinel
- Experience with Microsoft Teams automation integrations
- Ability to design, write, test, and release code in .NET, .NET Core, C#, or similar general-purpose languages
- Experience designing Microsoft security products using adaptive cards with Power Apps
- Experience implementing integrations using queues and topics
- Experience with event-driven and microservice architectures leveraging high-throughput, real-time stream-processing tools
- Experience with REST APIs using the .NET Core Framework and designing APIs with standards such as Swagger
- Experience with API lifecycle, API management, and governance
- Experience with CI/CD solutions, preferably GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Artifactory
- Experience developing proactive monitoring and alerting capabilities
- Experience monitoring and responding to alerts and issues, with ability to be on call as needed
- Certified Microsoft Azure Developer with working experience designing and developing integration solutions using Azure Integration Services such as Azure API Management, Logic Apps, App Services, and Event Hub
- Understanding of GraphQL, event-driven architecture schemas, API metadata and discovery with Swagger
- Familiarity with Power Virtual Agent and Bot Framework
- AZ-204 Microsoft Certification
- Knowledge of Defender and Sentinel
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise
- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, or ARM Templates
