About the role

  • Global IT Program Director leading workplace technology modernization for Colliers, a Canadian commercial real estate services firm. Standardizing IT service delivery, ServiceNow, devices, and global enterprise programs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of the Global Workplace Technology Program
  • Collaborate with key IT stakeholders and enterprise-wide partners to deliver multiple workstreams
  • Manage teams to resolve issues, maintain timelines and budgets, and achieve a standardized global service delivery model
  • Standardize global IT service delivery, including implementing a 24x7 outsourced service desk and ITIL-based processes
  • Consolidate multiple ServiceNow instances into a single global platform
  • Define the Colliers Digital Workplace model, including standard end-user devices, office technology, and management platforms
  • Deliver training and change management to global IT staff and the user community
  • Implement a financial charge-back mechanism for global IT services
  • Plan and manage complex regional and cross-functional enterprise projects
  • Develop program goals, timelines, charters, and RACI matrices
  • Manage stakeholders and vendors, anticipate needs and risks, and conduct meetings via Teams and email
  • Develop and maintain program plans, identify resource needs, and manage schedules
  • Drive practical solutions to issues through collaboration
  • Ensure steady-state IT support and comprehensive issue resolution after implementation
  • Manage the program’s financial health and chargeback model
  • Provide professional status reports tailored to the audience and ensure regular updates

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years in an IT Program / Project Management role at a large organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or a certificate in project management
  • Experience of running RFP vendor selection processes
  • Proficiency in program management methods and tools
  • Strong management and organizational abilities
  • Experience of the ITIL framework and with the commercial real estate industry is an asset
  • Proven ability to motivate and manage large, diverse teams
  • Highly self-motivated with an outgoing personality
  • Professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Currently authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis
