- Retirement Analyst supporting Owen & Associates, a Canadian employee-benefits and retirement advisory firm. Analyzing plans, investments, benchmarks, and client reporting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare retirement plan reports with support from the Retirement Practice Lead
- Collect, validate, and analyze retirement plan data to identify insights, trends, and opportunities
- Assist with CAP governance reviews, reporting, and related client deliverables
- Conduct retirement plan benchmarking studies covering plan design, fees, investment options, and market practices
- Research industry trends, investment markets, retirement plan developments, and legislative or regulatory updates
- Analyze investment fund performance and prepare fund review materials
- Support consultants with client presentations, meeting preparation, and follow-up materials
- Complete ad hoc analysis and special projects
- Maintain reporting templates, databases, benchmarking tools, and internal resources
Requirements
- Experience in an analytical, research, reporting, or financial services role
- Interest in retirement programs and investment concepts
- Experience supporting clients or working in a consulting environment is considered an asset
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas, large datasets, data validation, and financial models
- CEBS, RPA, CFA, CSC, or other relevant education or designation is considered an asset
- Must successfully complete a background check
