About the role

  • Senior healthcare partner improving Ontario gastroenterology, rheumatology, and hospital care pathways. Advancing quality initiatives for Pfizer’s hospital and biosimilars business.

Responsibilities

  • Strengthen partnerships across the Ontario healthcare ecosystem in gastroenterology, rheumatology, and hospital/institutional care
  • Build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, institutions, hospital leaders, and community stakeholders
  • Identify care gaps and co-create solutions improving access, timeliness, care pathways, patient flow, system capacity, and sustainability
  • Partner with community and academic gastroenterology and rheumatology stakeholders to understand patient journeys, care pathways, system readiness, and unmet needs
  • Co-create scalable workflow and care-pathway solutions
  • Serve as a strategic partner to hospitals and institutions focusing on oncology biosimilars, supportive care, and anticoagulation
  • Improve infusion capacity, patient flow, continuity of care, and institution-led biosimilar transitions where appropriate
  • Develop relationships with pharmacy directors, clinic managers, medical leaders, and other key stakeholders
  • Explore innovative partnership models, tools, workflows, and care-enablement approaches
  • Lead or support compliant Strategic Healthcare Enhancement Projects and quality-improvement initiatives
  • Generate and communicate healthcare-system insights for organizational understanding and strategic planning
  • Support sharing and scaling quality-improvement learnings across healthcare settings
  • Collaborate compliantly with cross-functional colleagues while maintaining a distinct non-promotional, non-demand-generating mandate
  • Represent Pfizer at relevant conferences, meetings, and events
  • Conduct activities according to Pfizer policies, procedures, non-promotional standards, and compliance requirements
  • Identify and report adverse events and product complaints

Requirements

  • University degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 8+ years of relevant pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or healthcare experience
  • Experience in quality improvement, co-creation, system partnerships, and/or complex projects
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare environment, patient pathways, and evolving healthcare and pharmacy models
  • Strategic, creative, and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills with senior healthcare stakeholders
  • Ability to lead through influence and collaborate compliantly across functions
  • Strong project management, strategic planning, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong initiative, adaptability, and comfort navigating complexity and ambiguity
  • Experience in specialty care, biologics, biosimilars, gastroenterology, rheumatology, and/or hospital-based care is an asset
  • Bilingualism is an asset
  • Must reside in Ontario, preferably in the greater Toronto area
  • Ability to travel regularly within the territory, nationally, and internationally as required
  • Valid driver’s licence and driving record meeting applicable Pfizer requirements
  • Maintain documentation required for international travel
