About the role

Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and governance
- Lead strategic sourcing processes, including RFx, evaluation, negotiations, and contracting
- Develop and execute category strategies to optimize costs, reduce risk, and create value
- Analyze markets, spend, and trends to identify improvement opportunities
- Act as a business partner to business units and provide strategic sourcing leadership
- Develop, negotiate, and manage relationships with strategic suppliers
- Ensure governance and lifecycle management of strategic contracts
- Identify and implement savings, cost avoidance, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Track and communicate the progress of projects and initiatives
- Lead strategic sourcing activities for non-production categories such as CAPEX, IT, professional services, and MRO
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in similar roles and/or a related manufacturing industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, and/or specialized education in procurement or logistics
- Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written
- Collaborative communication skills
- Demonstrated effectiveness in planning and project management
