Production technical support specialist supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing at Pharmascience. Resolving technical issues, improving processes, and ensuring product quality, compliance, and safety.
Responsibilities
Provide direct support and act as a subject matter expert for operators experiencing technical or operational issues related to raw materials, processes, equipment, or manufacturing procedures in order to identify solutions and ensure product quality
Act as a liaison between the various functions supporting production to ensure all aspects are considered when resolving technical issues
Identify, propose, and implement CAPAs, which may include reviewing and defining processes related to operations
Initiate Change Controls (CCs) to implement changes that resolve manufacturing issues
Act as a subject matter expert for document authors when preparing procedures, training materials, deviations, Master Batch Records (MBRs), and other documents
Draft operational protocols, rationales, and risk assessments to support investigations
Review and approve process validation protocols and reports, technology transfer documents, and Master Batch Records (MBRs)
Facilitate the introduction of new products by ensuring that the new process is viable for production and that the required materials and equipment are available
Manage, organize, and facilitate multidisciplinary meetings to resolve technical issues or propose continuous improvement projects
Analyze trends in nonconformities related to product quality, equipment, or processes
Propose solutions and participate in their implementation in collaboration with the Quality Assurance department and other related departments
Requirements
Bilingual in English and French, both spoken and written
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in the pharmaceutical industry
Ability to write and interpret technical documents
Ability to manage time and priorities effectively
Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously

Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong teamwork skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Proficient in MS Office
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an asset
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related field
