About the role

  • Philips health technology field service employee installing and repairing medical imaging equipment. Serving customer sites across Southwestern Ontario with approximately 70% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer relationships through effective technical knowledge
  • Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer needs
  • Understand customers’ businesses and competitive environments and generate service revenue
  • Participate in the regional work team and improve team processes
  • Identify training gaps and increase capability and capacity across multiple modalities
  • Complete administrative duties including timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, FCOs, preventative maintenance, installation documents, and site/service documentation
  • Adhere to Philips, provincial, and federal regulatory, training, quality, and safety requirements
  • Use tools, support, resources, and escalation processes to resolve customer and system problems
  • Complete preventative maintenance, field change orders, installations, and related tasks
  • Diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems
  • Travel approximately 70% across South Western Ontario, with 1–4 hours of daily driving and occasional overnight, air, or train travel

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging (field or hospital-based) service environment or 3+ years in electromechanical industries
  • Multimodality position
  • Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment
  • Knowledge and use of all necessary tools and test equipment
  • College diploma in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to successfully perform minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation
  • Ability to work in an office/home office and/or remote setting, as well as in a hospital/healthcare environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations
  • Ability to safely work with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials and wear required personal protective equipment
  • Canadian work authorization required; candidates requiring current or future sponsorship will not be considered
  • Must reside in or within commuting distance to London, Kitchener, Mississauga, or Windsor, Ontario
