Responsibilities
Build and lead a high-performing FP&A team across the company.
Continuously improve reporting production processes, planning tools and analytical capabilities.
Lead the annual budgeting process for all business units and corporate functions.
Develop long-term strategic financial plans and perform scenario analyses.
Support the commercial team with market analyses, market share assessments and opportunity sizing.
Collaborate with managers to establish financial targets and performance objectives.
Coordinate with the Financial Control team to produce accurate and timely financial information.
Analyze monthly/quarterly results and explain variances to budget, forecasts, prior year and the strategic plan.
Lead preparation of monthly reports for executive management and the board of directors.
Develop KPI dashboards and operational performance reports.
Identify opportunities to improve margins, working capital and cost optimization.
Build financial models for growth investments, acquisitions, capital projects and profitability analyses.
Evaluate capital allocation options and opportunities to maximize return on investments.
Monitor operational performance using cost and productivity indicators.
Analyze manufacturing variances and contribute to inventory optimization and working capital management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, commerce or a related field (required).
Professional designation CPA, CFA, MBA or equivalent (strong asset).
Excellent command of English (spoken and written) required.
Good command of French (spoken and written) is a strong asset.
Valid passport required.
More than 12 years of progressive experience in finance, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role in FP&A, strategic finance, commercial finance or operational finance.
Experience managing annual budgeting and forecasting processes in a multi-site organization.
Proven experience supporting executive teams and presenting financial information to senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in developing and mobilizing high-performing teams.
Ability to link financial data to business strategy and operations.
Strong understanding of manufacturing economics, cost drivers and productivity metrics.
Experience in commercial finance with expertise in market analysis, pricing optimization and revenue growth analysis.
Advanced proficiency with Power BI and financial modeling, and experience with financial planning tools.
Experience preparing presentations for boards of directors, lenders and/or private investors.
Ability to navigate between strategic discussions and detailed operational analysis.
Aptitude for converting complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
