About the role

  • Senior People Operations Generalist scaling HR systems and employee processes. Supporting Prenuvo’s proactive healthcare mission across Canadian teams and clinics.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously improve People Operations processes including onboarding, offboarding, worker data management, promotions, transfers, and leaves of absence
  • Advise managers and employees on company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity through regular audits and corrective actions
  • Troubleshoot HRIS and People & Culture systems issues, data discrepancies, integration failures, and access issues with IT or vendors
  • Support system upgrades and new module rollouts through user acceptance testing and documentation
  • Train People & Culture team members and managers on proper system use
  • Generate complex people analytics reports and workflows for leadership and compliance purposes
  • Lead or support cross-functional projects including performance and compensation cycles, system implementations, and policy changes
  • Draft and update standard operating procedures, policies, and internal People Operations resources
  • Partner with legal and compliance teams on employment law adherence
  • Escalate and address complex employee relations questions with People & Culture Business Partners
  • Manage remote work abroad due diligence and support immigration cases and international relocations by coordinating with legal partners and tracking case status
  • Mentor junior People Operations team members
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive employee information

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR/People Operations, HRIS administration, or related Generalist experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Canadian employment law and HR compliance requirements
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as Rippling, Workday, BambooHR, ADP, or similar
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
  • Process-improvement mindset
  • High degree of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of hire and must not require employer sponsorship for a work visa, current or future
  • Successful candidates must undergo a background check
  • Experience supporting benefits administration, leave management, and/or compensation processes is a plus
  • CPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certification preferred but not required
  • Experience in a high-growth or scaling company environment is nice to have
  • Global company people operations experience is nice to have
  • Familiarity with payroll processes and systems integration is nice to have
  • Experience building or improving employee self-service resources is nice to have
  • Experience managing global mobility and immigration programs is nice to have
