About the role
- Application Developer building in-house construction management systems for Primoris, a construction services company. Maintaining software and developing full-stack Microsoft applications in a hybrid Acheson role.
Responsibilities
- Develop in-house, purpose-built construction management systems.
- Follow architecture, procedures, protocols, and conventions established by the Systems Development Leads.
- Maintain and support developed and integrated systems and software.
- Work collaboratively with other team members.
- Document changes to programs, scripts, operating instructions, methodology, and architecture.
- Report to the Systems Support Lead.
- Work as part of a Development Team consisting of the Systems Support Lead and Development Lead.
Requirements
- Post-Secondary education related to systems development and programming.
- 3 – 5 years of experience in a similar role would be considered an asset (applicable education may be considered in place of experience)
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Full Stack Developer experience.
- Development in Microsoft environments: SQL Server.
- Ability to create and maintain stored procedures, triggers, and tables.
- Knowledge of developing Windows applications using VB.Net Windows Presentation Framework (WPF).
- XAML knowledge.
- Working knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Working knowledge of problem solving techniques.
- Working knowledge of programming best practices.
- Ability to quickly learn and adopt new tools and technologies.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
