About the role
- Agent(e) en assurance de dommages conseillant les assurés auto et habitation chez Promutuel Assurance. Formation rémunérée de 12 semaines et accompagnement vers un poste permanent.
Responsibilities
- Complete a 12-week paid training program, including preparatory courses for the license required by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), foundational training, and onboarding
- Alternate between theoretical courses and practical assignments
- Participate in in-person or virtual classes
- Receive guidance from experienced trainers and managers
- Observe fieldwork and listen to calls
- Advise member-policyholders and build trusting relationships
- Analyze current and future automobile and home insurance needs
- Recommend suitable coverage and appropriate products and services
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries
Requirements
- High school diploma and three years of professional experience in full-time positions OR college diploma or college studies certificate
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Comfortable using technology to navigate various platforms
- Basic knowledge of the insurance industry (an asset)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Rigor, organizational skills, reliability, and autonomy
- Excellent team spirit
- Ability to maintain a fast-paced learning schedule during training
- Awareness of the commitment required during the training period
- Active listening skills
- Ability to read extensively and take notes
- Curiosity and strong analytical skills
- Excellent command of French, both spoken and written
- Functional proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to serve English-speaking clients (an asset)
- License required by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), to be obtained through the training program
