About the role

  • Senior Customer Account Manager expanding Prophix One financial performance software within existing customer accounts. Driving modules, users, cloud migrations, and executive relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of existing Prophix accounts
  • Drive net-new expansion ARR through additional modules, user license expansion, and cloud migration opportunities
  • Run full sales cycles from discovery to close
  • Coordinate with Professional Services, Cloud, Legal, and Customer Success teams
  • Maintain at least 2.2× pipeline coverage across the territory
  • Achieve at least 90% forecast accuracy by week 5 of each quarter
  • Escalate strategic opportunities and proactively manage at-risk accounts
  • Establish relationships with CFOs, Controllers, VPs of Finance, and CIOs
  • Lead executive business reviews tied to customers’ financial transformation priorities
  • Re-engage disengaged or at-risk executive sponsors
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and opportunity data in Salesforce
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers and Marketing on customer enablement and nurture programs
  • Use Prophix’s AI-enabled tools and personal AI workflows for research, drafting, and preparation

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of quota-carrying software sales or customer expansion sales experience, with a track record of hitting target
  • Experience in CPM, FP&A, financial planning software, or adjacent FinTech SaaS
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder B2B sales cycles from discovery through legal and close
  • Executive presence with the ability to run strategic conversations with CFOs or Controllers
  • CRM fluency, ideally Salesforce, for active pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity hygiene
  • Deep understanding of on-premise and SaaS/cloud software delivery models
  • Comfortable running cloud migration conversations
  • Comfort using AI tools responsibly for research, account preparation, drafting, or data review
  • Ability to learn new tools and adapt as technology evolves
  • Curiosity and openness to exploring new approaches
  • Collaborative mindset when working with teams and technology
  • Direct sales experience at a CPM or FP&A software company or comparable financial performance platform (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, or close management workflows (preferred)
  • Experience with Account Reconciliation or Financial Consolidation use cases (preferred)
  • Outstanding negotiation skills and a track record of protecting deal value under procurement pressure (preferred)
  • Familiarity with financial close, audit readiness, or multi-entity consolidation challenges (preferred)
