About the role

  • Global Partner Operations Manager standardizing reservations, systems, training, and quality control across Pursuit’s hospitality and attractions teams. Supporting travel trade partners across Canada and the US.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as a global connector across Hotels, Inside Sales, and Attractions & Transportation
  • Build understanding of each team’s operating model and apply relevant standards, decisions, and support
  • Hold teams accountable to shared standards, KPIs, and processes while advocating for their needs
  • Set, monitor, and report on Travel Trade Reservations KPIs and recommend corrective action
  • Own in-house hiring and training for the Partner Operations team
  • Support Partner Operations managers as a resource and escalation point
  • Develop and improve onboarding and training materials
  • Build and maintain rate codes across relevant systems
  • Troubleshoot system issues and work with IT/applications teams on root-cause resolution
  • Manage relationships with key travel trade partners
  • Evaluate partner requests and proposals with Sales teams
  • Deliver difficult messages clearly and constructively
  • Design, implement, and enforce daily quality control processes
  • Support workforce planning and coordination with team managers
  • Review processes, drive improvements, and maintain accurate SOP documentation
  • Resolve or route ad hoc issues involving customer success, accounting, and systems
  • Collaborate with Partner Operations leadership, Sales, and Revenue Management on commercial strategy
  • Perform additional responsibilities and projects as business needs evolve

Requirements

  • Strong, working knowledge of the global travel trade landscape and B2B hospitality industry, including tour groups, FIT and MICE segments
  • 3+ years’ experience in reservations, hospitality operations, or a similar client-facing operational role
  • Experience across more than one business line or location ideally
  • Experience managing or mentoring teams, including hiring and training
  • Ability to hold people accountable while advocating for them
  • Hands-on experience with reservations/rate management systems
  • Experience with Inntopia, Opera Cloud, Ventrata Delphi.fdc, Salesforce, or Freshdesk, or strong willingness to learn new systems quickly
  • Strong business judgment and ability to make and defend enterprise-minded decisions
  • Excellent relationship management skills and ability to navigate difficult conversations
  • High attention to detail and experience building or maintaining quality control processes across multiple teams or locations
  • Ability to work across systems, people, processes, and partners
  • Legal ability to work in both Canada and the US is required
