About the role

  • Senior Manager managing IAM compliance and security controls for RBC's enterprise. Overseeing risks, audits, and regulatory inquiries in a global security setting.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and Track Issues: Identify and track IAM-related issues and action plans in accordance with enterprise standards
  • Manage IAM Risks: Oversee IAM-related risks, maintaining accountability with risk owners
  • Support Audit Activities: Monitor audit issues, support IAM business units, and partner with audit coordinators
  • Address Regulatory Inquiries: Analyze and form opinions on how to address audit and regulatory inquiries
  • Report on Emerging Risks: Report and communicate on emerging risk trends
  • Meet Risk Assessment Timelines: Complete all risk activities according to the assessment plan
  • Represent IAM in External Interactions: Represent the IAM team on risk-related issues

Requirements

  • Relevant Education & Experience: Undergraduate degree coupled with change management experience in complex programs
  • Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication
  • Project & Time Management: Strong organizational, project management, and time management capabilities
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry
  • Results-Oriented Mindset: Deadline-driven and results-oriented professional capable of managing multiple tasks
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing requirements and environments quickly
  • Conflict Resolution: Proven experience with conflicts and issues resolution
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Sound analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Facilitation & Influence: Ability to facilitate discussions between key stakeholders
  • Strategic & Interpersonal Capabilities: Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Reporting & Automation Experience: Experience with reporting tools, dashboards, and automation solutions
