Casual Field & Infusion Nurse (RN) at Cencora administering medications and monitoring infusion treatments. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and providing patient education in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities
Administer medications in the patient's home (home care), specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinic settings
Assess monitor pre and post-injection/infusion treatments as directed by program protocols
Complete necessary documentation based on policies and procedures, and as directed by the College of Nurses, and Innomar ISO accreditation standards of practice
Provide patient / Caregivers education based on product monographs and program protocols, individually or in groups
Report adverse events, serious adverse events, product complaints in accordance with Innomar training and policies & procedures
Provide reliable availability based on the agreed upon employment agreement to meet the needs of the IBU and the Nursing and clinics Key Performance Indicators
Communicate and work effectively amongst multi-disciplinary teams to meet established timelines
Participate regularly in team web-based meetings/training sessions with the Business Area Manager, RNE and Nurse Champion
Adhere to professional nursing standards prescribed by the professional associations and Innomar
Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary health care team providing oversight and delegation of applicable tasks to LPNs
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field, or equivalent experience required
Master's degree in nursing or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred
6+ years of clinical nursing experience in home infusion, specialty clinics, patient support, reimbursement coordination, or related field required
Registered Nurse (RN) license or equivalent certification required
Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other office productivity tools
Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written formats
Ability to organize work and maintain attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
Ability to analyze information and apply problem-solving skills
Ability to present information clearly to varied audiences
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a broader team
Ability to build effective interpersonal working relationships
