About the role

  • Performance Marketing Manager scaling paid acquisition for Relay’s digital banking platform. Leading marketers, optimizing channels, and expanding campaign testing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of performance marketers through ownership-setting, weekly 1:1s, and coaching
  • Own one or two paid-media channels or tests and serve as an escalation point
  • Audit existing channels and vendor partners within the first 90 days and recommend what stays, changes, or is replaced
  • Take over the publisher channel and scale a portfolio of media partners producing quality Approvals efficiently
  • Run weekly performance meetings, own heartbeat metrics and performance narratives, and contribute to monthly budget planning
  • Develop a point of view on channel tests most likely to increase Approvals, including options outside the current playbook
  • Represent performance marketing in integrated campaigns
  • Build feedback loops with Analytics and the Creative Director to improve creative and targeting
  • Scale and optimize Relay's paid channels, test and unlock new channels, and build a team of modern performance marketers

Requirements

  • Experience owning paid media budgets of at least $200K per month across brand and direct-response spending
  • Personally run at least two or three paid channels
  • Experience growing other marketers through formal management, dotted-line reporting, or mentoring
  • Knowledge of LTV:CAC, attribution models from first-touch to multi-touch, and incrementality or geo testing
  • Experience buying brand-forward media such as CTV, audio, out-of-home, or direct mail is a plus
  • SQL or Metabase experience is a plus
  • Experience managing publisher partners or agency relationships is a plus
  • Experience across self-serve and sales-assisted funnels is a plus
  • Successful background check and employment verification through Certn required for employment
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Able to join the office three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
