About the role

Software Developer designing and maintaining Java-based scanning and image-processing products at Ricoh. Collaborating with global teams on scalable solutions for Americas customers.

Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements independently and evaluate third-party libraries to recommend technical approaches.
Prepare functional specifications and perform detailed technical designs.
Implement reliable, scalable, and high-performance applications.
Develop test cases and perform unit testing.
Maintain and support client solutions.
Participate in database design and development.
Design, implement, and customize scan-based products.
Collaborate with developers on global teams and support delivery and implementation for the Americas market.

University degree or college diploma, preferably in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
Java experience.
Experience with networking protocols such as HTTP, XML, JSON, SOAP, and REST.
Linux/UNIX experience is a strong asset.
C++/C# is an asset.
2+ years of relevant software development experience.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
