About the role

  • Ricoh public-sector account executive driving strategic Quebec sales. Developing client relationships, RFP responses, consultative solutions, and complex negotiations for digital workplace services.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, by phone and in person.
  • Understand clients’ business environments and build lasting relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Align Ricoh solutions and services with clients’ strategic initiatives, challenges, and objectives.
  • Analyze organizational structures, priorities, policies, and procurement processes within the public sector.
  • Develop and present strategic business development plans with internal stakeholders.
  • Lead and coordinate responses to complex tenders and requests for proposals.
  • Use CRM, LinkedIn, Power BI, Hoovers, and other research platforms to develop opportunities.
  • Manage complex negotiations and strategic sales cycles by coordinating legal, executive, and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills with clients and internal partners.
  • Drive strategic direction, business growth, and overall results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a B2B, information technology, or consultative selling environment.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
  • Established relationships and contacts in the public-sector market in the province of Quebec.
  • Experience working with public- and parapublic-sector organizations is considered an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required, with automobile insurance in accordance with Ricoh policy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of document management solutions and workflows is considered an asset.
