About the role

  • SAP PP Functional Analyst modernizing production planning systems for Pratt & Whitney Canada’s aerospace engine manufacturing operations. Supporting S/4HANA transformation, ERP integration, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the SAP S/4HANA digital transformation for the Plan to Sustain workstream
  • Work with business stakeholders and functional areas to define Operations Systems process opportunities
  • Streamline business processes, promote best practices, and drive business benefits
  • Perform technical and functional problem solving and ensure integration with other solutions and applications
  • Document business requirements and translate them into specification documents
  • Work in cross-functional teams to integrate Operations with enterprise applications
  • Lead or participate in ERP-related projects and align stakeholders on vision, scope, schedule, and budget
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement continuous business improvement opportunities through standard application configurations
  • Provide knowledge transfer to post-go-live support teams
  • Partner with Digital Technology teams, third-party software vendors, partners, and subject matter experts to develop and execute integrated solutions
  • Propose solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and apply best practices and technologies within application processes and architecture

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field and 5+ years of experience in Information Technology, including customer-facing experience, requirements gathering, functional/technical solution design, support, and project delivery; OR an Advanced Degree and 5+ years of experience in Information Technology or related field with the same experience
  • 5+ years of SAP configuration experience in the SAP Production Planning module
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and analytical skills
  • SAP PP certification (ECC/S4) preferred
  • Working knowledge of SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) or other modules preferred
  • Strong technical experience in a complex SAP landscape
  • Demonstrated leadership of successful process improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrated focus on process development and implementation spanning organizational boundaries
  • Demonstrated agile mindset and history of helping implement and support scaled agile practices
  • Program debugging experience
  • BTP/MES experience
  • Very good knowledge of English for reading documentation and technical terms, and writing and communicating with customers, suppliers, or international colleagues
  • Ability and availability to travel based on business/project needs
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and applicable clearances for handling and transferring controlled goods
  • Required clearances must be obtained as a condition of employment
