About the role

  • Business Development Representative building outbound pipeline for Runway’s AI world-simulation platform. Partnering with enterprise and mid-market sales teams to engage innovative organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the GTM Sales team to research and prioritize target accounts
  • Identify and engage stakeholders across creative, marketing, production, and technology teams
  • Develop outbound campaigns across email, phone, and other channels
  • Craft personalized messaging for brand-driven and technical organizations
  • Generate qualified pipeline and schedule meetings for Enterprise and Mid Market account executives
  • Experiment with messaging, targeting, and sequencing to improve engagement and conversion
  • Maintain notes and activity in CRM tools to support coordinated account strategy
  • Share prospect feedback to inform positioning, product direction, and go-to-market strategy
  • Manage and close select SMB or smaller expansion opportunities over time
  • Help define best practices, contribute to playbooks, and influence the evolution of the BDR function

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Research-driven and thoughtful approach to outreach and account development
  • Curiosity about AI, creative tooling, and how new technologies are adopted inside organizations
  • Comfort engaging with stakeholders from creative professionals to senior business and technical leaders
  • High level of ownership and initiative, with comfort operating in ambiguity
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, evolving environment
  • Experience in a sales development, customer-facing, or growth role (nice to have)
  • Experience selling into creative teams, marketing organizations, or mid-market and enterprise accounts (nice to have)
  • Experience running discovery or closing smaller deals (nice to have)
  • Candidates must be based in the U.S. or Canada
  • Candidates located in the U.S. must be authorized to work in the U.S.
