About the role
- Salesforce director leading MuleSoft and enterprise data foundation architecture for customer engagements. Advising CxOs and delivering governed, AI-ready platforms across complex technology environments.
Responsibilities
- Own strategy, architecture, and successful delivery of enterprise Data Foundation engagements
- Set the technical vision for governed, AI-ready data foundations
- Advise customer executives at the CxO level and shape data strategy and business cases
- Lead executive discovery, maturity assessments, and phased customer-calibrated roadmaps
- Represent the practice in complex, high-stakes engagements
- Set target-state architecture across Salesforce Data 360, Informatica IDMC, and MuleSoft
- Balance platform-agnostic and Salesforce-native execution with customers’ existing technology investments
- Approve architecture decisions and validate them through scoped proofs of concept
- Provide architectural governance and quality assurance across concurrent engagements
- Own delivery risk, executive buy-in, business engagement, scope, and dependency management
- Embed security, privacy, governance, and quality controls from project inception
- Establish AI-augmented professional services delivery using Claude Code, Gemini, Lucid AI, and NotebookLM
- Define reusable prompt templates, skills, agents, accelerators, and delivery IP
- Establish AI acceleration targets, quality guardrails, and human oversight
- Shape and publish the practice’s point of view on the agentic future of SaaS
- Create reference architectures, POVs, and forward-looking roadmaps
- Represent the practice externally and internally and brief executives
- Author and evolve the Data Foundation Delivery Playbook
- Provide hands-on technical leadership to Senior Advisors, Architects, Consultants, and engagement teams
- Establish stewardship, RACI, sustainable operating models, and executive-ready engagement summaries
- Complete certification, customer impact, architecture, business outcome, AI delivery, thought leadership, and enablement goals during the first 12 months
Requirements
- Canadian citizenship required; permanent residents are not eligible for the required Canadian Government Security Clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian Government Security Clearance
- Reliability Clearance requires 5 years of verifiable work and residence history, generally from within Canada
- Secret Clearance requires 10 years of verifiable work and residence history, generally from within Canada
- 15+ years of deep, hands-on data experience across data architecture, engineering, MDM, integration, and governance
- 8–10 years of experience supporting customers using MuleSoft
- Deep expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Deep expertise across one or more of Salesforce Data 360, Informatica IDMC, or MuleSoft
- Authority-level data modeling and semantic/metadata modeling
- Strong command of data governance, quality, security, and privacy, including GDPR/CCPA/HIPAA
- Proven CxO-level advisory and ability to lead multi-workstream delivery
- Experience integrating vendor platforms into complex heterogeneous enterprise landscapes
- Fluency leading AI-augmented delivery using AI tools and reusable prompt/skill/agent assets
- Recognized thought leadership on enterprise data, AI, and the agentic future of SaaS
- Experience with API-led connectivity, real-time sync, batch processing, event-driven architectures, API management, and deployment options
- Knowledge of MuleSoft–Salesforce integration and enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, and ServiceNow
- Familiarity with MuleSoft RPA capabilities
- Multiple MuleSoft certifications, including Developer and Integration Architect Associate
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline preferred; equivalent demonstrable work experience in lieu of a degree considered
- Application design and development background
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, Agile, and SCRUM
- Salesforce CTA certification or progress toward obtaining it preferred
- Experience managing large full life-cycle Salesforce implementations
- Executive presence and ability to influence outcomes
- Ability to convey and convince customers of best practices at various organizational levels
