About the role

  • Talent Acquisition Advisor recruiting operations, warehouse, and distribution talent for Saputo, a Canadian dairy processor. Building pipelines and partnering with hiring managers across Western Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Create an exceptional experience for candidates and hiring managers through proactive communication and timely feedback
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle for Operations and Warehouse & Distribution roles in British Columbia and the Prairies
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and HR Partners to understand job requirements and implement recruitment strategies
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines for key and recurring positions
  • Build relationships with local communities, educational institutions, and industry networks
  • Participate in intern recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviews, and follow-ups
  • Plan, attend, and represent Saputo at career events, student recruitment activities, networking events, and campus initiatives
  • Improve recruitment tools, processes, and technology, including AI-enabled solutions
  • Support employer branding and social media outreach
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics and market insights to improve talent attraction decisions

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of recruitment experience, attracting and hiring talent, ideally in a high-volume environment supporting operations and/or warehouse and distribution roles
  • Ability to establish strong partnerships with hiring managers, candidates, and HR partners while delivering an exceptional candidate experience
  • Initiative, resourcefulness, and passion for talent acquisition, including proactive sourcing and building talent pipelines
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with local talent markets, community partnerships, targeted recruitment campaigns, and networking events
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Track record of meeting hiring goals and delivering timely recruitment outcomes
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Experience with Workday ATS is considered an asset
