About the role

  • Account Director leading Scene+ Travel powered by Expedia and banking engagement. Driving bookings, partner growth, member spend, and cross-shopping across Canada’s loyalty ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, growth, and performance of the Scene+ travel vertical and strengthen financial services engagement across the partner ecosystem
  • Own end-to-end accountability for Scene+ Travel, powered by Expedia
  • Develop annual and quarterly plans driving gross booking value, revenue, conversion, first-time bookers, repeat booking, and member engagement
  • Align with Expedia on marketing campaigns, investment priorities, product and feature roadmaps, member experience enhancements, and operational requirements
  • Lead strategies for Scotiabank and Tangerine card members to increase activity, spend, share of wallet, and cross-shopping
  • Shape campaigns, targeting, value propositions, and member journeys using data-driven decision-making
  • Establish KPI frameworks and performance governance; monitor and optimize results
  • Translate member, transaction, and campaign data into strategic direction and growth opportunities
  • Lead cross-functional planning with Marketing, Data Science and Analytics, Finance, Digital, Product, Operations, Member Experience, and external partners
  • Lead quarterly business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and account check-ins
  • Lead, coach, and develop one Manager, Marketing & Partnerships

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing, strategic partnerships, account leadership, or strategy
  • Experience ideally within loyalty, travel, financial services, retail, ecommerce, or another complex, multi-partner ecosystem
  • Travel experience preferred but not required
  • Experience developing integrated account strategies, annual plans, marketing strategies, business cases, strategic briefs, and executive presentations
  • Experience managing complex, high-profile partnerships and building trusted relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to balance competing priorities, navigate commercial considerations, and move initiatives from strategy through execution independently
  • Expertise translating business objectives into campaigns and experiences that drive measurable results
  • Understanding of audiences, segmentation, targeting, messaging, offers, CRM strategies, and connected member journeys
  • Comfort working with complex member, transaction, and campaign data
  • Ability to establish KPI frameworks, evaluate performance, develop forecasts, assess investment trade-offs, and translate insights into strategic recommendations and executive-ready materials
  • Exceptional communication and ability to align cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Experience coaching and developing others
  • Ability to operate independently, resolve ambiguity, manage complex initiatives, and improve performance
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada on an ongoing basis
