Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structures or building components for new construction, renovation and restoration projects.
- Perform building evaluations, site reviews, and investigations.
- Conduct drawing and field reviews for new construction projects.
- Prepare project proposals, detailed engineering drawings, reports and specifications.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants to support clear communication and efficient, timely project delivery.
- Represent Sense at client meetings and other networking functions with a commitment to exceptional service standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Previous co-op or internship experience in the engineering consulting field is considered a strong asset.
- Registered with or eligible for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Good working knowledge of MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation required.
