About the role

  • Project Associate involved in design and analysis of structures for construction projects at Sense Engineering. Collaborating in a supportive environment to deliver impactful engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze structures or building components for new construction, renovation and restoration projects.
  • Perform building evaluations, site reviews, and investigations.
  • Conduct drawing and field reviews for new construction projects.
  • Prepare project proposals, detailed engineering drawings, reports and specifications.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants to support clear communication and efficient, timely project delivery.
  • Represent Sense at client meetings and other networking functions with a commitment to exceptional service standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Previous co-op or internship experience in the engineering consulting field is considered a strong asset.
  • Registered with or eligible for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation required.
