About the role

  • Project Manager leading medical imaging equipment installation projects across Western Canada for Siemens Healthineers. Managing schedules, budgets, contractors, customer requirements, and site delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Independently lead and manage multiple moderate- to high-complexity projects
  • Develop and deploy implementation plans and project tools
  • Establish project metrics and improvement targets
  • Drive projects to completion and monitor solution effectiveness
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources
  • Manage concurrent projects valued at $1-5 million
  • Create and maintain MS Project schedules and initiate corrective action
  • Provide accurate revenue forecasts to Sales and Finance
  • Travel to project sites to validate status, address issues, and collaborate with customers, contractors, and MIV
  • Coordinate room planning with internal and external stakeholders
  • Act as main point of contact for architects, consultants, contractors, MIV, customers, and project resources
  • Monitor site preparation and readiness
  • Manage equipment production, delivery, design build, installation, and applications training scheduling
  • Complete and submit project documentation, including schedules, checklists, change orders, handover documents, and site-readiness records
  • Maintain Bridge dates and align factory delivery dates with project needs
  • Manage logistics from warehouse to site or storage
  • Ensure last call letter accuracy and stakeholder awareness
  • Coordinate kickoff, customer, closure, and handover meetings and archive records
  • Confirm customer requirements from pre-job through service handover
  • Support seamless implementation of Syngo and IBD products
  • Coordinate delivery/rigging, mechanical installation, commissioning, and applications resources through site visits
  • Capture and accurately file project documentation in the project database
  • Escalate issues requiring support to maintain timelines
  • Substitute for or assist department staff and perform other assigned duties

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, construction management, healthcare
  • 5-10 years of demonstrated project management experience in external client facing healthcare medical imaging
  • Preference may be given to those with PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or similar designation
  • Previous experience working as a Field Service Representative in diagnostic imaging is highly preferred
  • Experience with MS Project and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with construction drawings, blueprints and practices
  • Fluency in English required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel to off-site project locations
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Flexibility to work longer hours and weekends if required
  • Ability to travel without restriction
  • Valid passport
  • Strong computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, and PowerPoint
  • Travel time around 50%-75% of time on project sites across Western Canada
