About the role
- Merchant Success Associate driving scaled onboarding, product adoption, and churn mitigation for Skio’s Shopify subscription merchants. Building self-service content and automation for Growth tier brands.
Responsibilities
- Design and run scaled onboarding and audit calls
- Create automated email campaigns and in-app messaging for merchant cohorts
- Own merchants' first 90 days and drive rapid onboarding and activation
- Partner with Marketing and Product to create educational resources, video tutorials, best-practice guides, and how-to articles
- Monitor merchant health metrics and conduct proactive outreach to mitigate churn
- Demonstrate Skio platform features to drive merchant ROI and simplify business operations
- Build self-service resource libraries that reduce support needs and drive merchant success
- Build systems, content, and programs supporting Skio's Growth tier merchants
Requirements
- 1–8 years of experience in Customer Success, Onboarding, Sales Development, or Technical Support
- Experience ideally within subscription or the Shopify ecosystem
- Comfortable with, or eager to learn, Planhat for email sequencing, automation, and scaled communication
- Ability to write clear, actionable guidance and simplify complex concepts
- Ability to manage a high volume of accounts in a process-driven, proactive manner
- Resourcefulness and ability to find scalable solutions in a high-growth environment
- Bonus: passion for building Shopify stores or subscription experiences
- Bonus: network within the Shopify Plus partner ecosystem
- Bonus: experience as a Skio merchant/user
- Bonus: startup experience building processes from scratch
